Well Done, Well Beings! Here’s the Recap from Our 2nd Annual Full Circle Benefit

This past Saturday, August 24th, we hosted our 1st annual Full Circle Benefit in Bridgehampton, NY.

It was a beautiful benefit at a beautiful private estate which is also home to over 50 animals, many of whom are rescues. The crowd was both inspired and humbled by the innovative programs spotlighted by Well Beings:

  • Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART)

  • SquirrelWood Equine Sanctuary (SES): Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy Program

  • Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF): Pets and Vets Program

  • Urban Resource Institute (URI): People and Animals Living Safely Program (PALS)

Our benefit raised over $150,000 and 100% of that money will go to these 2019 Human-Animal Bond Campaign partners.

"Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder tend to avoid negative emotions all together," said Janel Holland, Director of ARF, to the crowd of animal and environmental welfare supporters that were gathered at the benefit. ARF is a program dedicated to pairing rescue animals with veterans suffering from PTSD.

Guests of the benefit were moved by our partner stories, as well as excited by our newly branded organization, Well Beings, committed to saving animals, our planet, and our future by supporting and collaborating with charities who share the same vision.

At one point, one of our team members heard a murmur from someone in the crowd gathered to watch the videos about our campaign. "That was very well done," they said.

To that we say, "Well done, Well Beings!"

We'll post more pictures and details from the event soon, and would like to take this opportunity thank our wonderful sponsors for making this Well Beings campaign fundraiser a success for animals, for our planet, and for our future. Thanks to the fundraising from this event, these programs plan to scale their humane education initiatives (HEART), their animal-assisted therapy programs for war veterans (ARF and SES), and their pet-friendly shelters for families of domestic violence (URI PALS).

With gratitude,

The Well Beings Team
